Shifter Chicks

So I decided to draw a bunch of staple default females of my elemental shapeshifters, garbed in the colours of their respective penants. From left to right:

Sanguian (blood), red and black. Dressed in all leather, suede, and wool. They like to wear animal hide. Makes them feel like hunters. They're descended from one branch of Kedda Hiroko's descendants (daught of Zarador and Sierra), who decided to become Sanguians.

Ethereal (ether), blue and white. If you're thinking that ethereals look might similar, it's because they do. For one their clothes are just part of their body and they're totally unimaginative, and for two pretty much all ethereals are at least distantly related. The two errants pieces of hair are common for them. They're descendents of Lathan Tuketu's sister. All of them. They're all cousins. They inbreed alot.

Umbrian (shadow), purple and blue. The sheer cape thing is based on Sierra's obsession with see-through sleeves. The umbrians are descened also from Kedda, but a different branch of her family that became umbrians instead of sanguians. (A third branch of Kedda's kiddoes became vampires.)

Terrous (earth), green and brown. Short because they're descended from the halflings, including the Original, Wilda Whettle.

Hydrous (water), blue and green. Be glad she's wearing that loose dress because their bodies are disgustingly non-boned and they move rather like a half-melted rubber snake and their joints don't bend straight, they just curve and wiggle.

Phloxian (fire), orange and red. Not much special to say about her, except that her eyes are blue because really hot stars (I mean, REALLY hot) turns blue and white. So her eyes are blue as opposed to red or yellow. Descended from Derek Bennington.

This took a couple days to whip up. At first I had totally forgotten how I shade/highlight in Photoshop so I just winged it and guessed on the Sang chick. Then I remembered partway through the Ethereal.

For those who read my shifter page WAY back when I first made it, you might be wondering what happened to the Chrusions (crystal), Galvanians (electricity), and Psuchrians (ice). Well, I scrapped them. They're no more. I didn't want any extra elements beyond the original six. Well, the chrusions still exist, but are not part of this family of shapeshifters. They're also impossible to draw, being composed entirely of unhewn gemstones.
